About

The Catechism of the Coptic Orthodox Church is a series of short articles that explain the faith, worship and life of the Coptic Orthodox Church - what we believe, why we believe it, and how it shapes the life of a Christian today.

It is written for anyone who wants to understand the Coptic Orthodox faith more deeply: those preparing to join the Church, young people growing in their faith, and anyone curious about the beauty of the ancient Church of Alexandria.

How to use it

The articles are grouped into chapters and can be read in order or on their own. New articles are added as they are written and reviewed.

Who prepared it

The Catechism is prepared by servants of the Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Athanasius in Mississauga, Ontario, under the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver and Western Canada.
